My favorite places have water nearby – streams, lakes, rivers, the ocean – being where I hear, see, touch water brings a sense of tranquility to my soul.
When my mother died, 22 years ago, I built a pond/waterfall feature in my backyard which provides the sound and motion that soothe me.
When my father died, 2 years ago, I bought a condominium within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean.
