One spring morning I discovered this rabbit nest in a dry corner of the garden, protected from rain by the eves of my house. Covered by a blanket of fur, the kits were sheltered in an earthen cocoon dug into the bark mulch under ivy.

After snapping this photo, I carefully replaced the fur screen. What a cozy little hideaway!
