My husband and I are attending an informal reunion of college friends. We are being hosted by one of those friends at his home in Tahoe City, right on the water. This was the view from my window when I woke up at 5:00 this morning.

It often happens when I travel — wake up early and can’t get to sleep. I was looking at options for the challenge then thought, hey, it is right in front of me!
