My mother gave me this mixmaster for a wedding gift. Whenever I use it, I am filled with the love of home cooking she instilled in me, and the love she gave so generously to Dad and their four children.
I have one exactly like it–in perfect 70s Harvest Gold! It must be at least 40 years old. But I bought it myself. It still works fine, even with the beaters being a bit bent.
They just don’t make things that last like this, or with same beauty. There’s something to be said if a mixer that poses so nicely. (I love oatmeal cookies!)
Walking With Eagles is a collection of original poems and photographs by Lindy Low Le Coq. A lifelong naturalist, amateur photographer and bird enthusiast, Lindy’s verse, composition and photographs open a window into the essence of her subjects. Her poems and photography reflect the rich natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Bald Eagles mature over the course of five years. Walking With Eagles invites the reader to take a poetic and visual tour of this odyssey.
