I spent a couple days with my sister at her home in Corvallis, Oregon, to do more cleanup at Dad’s place this week. Diana is a bird lover too, and her open backyard draws in flocks of American Goldfinch as they migrate. At one point we agreed there were probably 50 in this tree!















I hope a few of those lovelies find their way to me!

Great shots! Most of our goldfinches stay here in cold Illinois all winter long and only turn yellow in the spring.
We usually have some at our feeders all winter too. This crowd at Diana’s was definitely in full color and on the move!
