I’ve always been fascinated by water skippers (Gerridae Hemiptera), also known as water striders, water bugs and pond skaters. These fascinating bugs are built to transfer their weight so they can run on top of the water’s surface. They seem to be constantly on the move, so I was happy to get a shot that is in focus.

Awesome! They are neat! 🙂 I’ve always been fascinated by them too!
Thanks, Tom!

Well done. After pausing they never go where you expect them too!
