~ Sweet Alyssum ~ In A Vase on Monday + WPC: Tiny 2 ~

When I was a young girl (before the advent of Barbie) I’d pick a blossom of sweet alyssum to serve as the bridal bouquet for my storybook dolls.

With its multitude of tiny blossoms, Lobularia maritima is easy to grow in sunny locations, and is a wonderful companion to many other perennials.

Seeing this next to your keyboard I can gauge what size it is – what a pefect miniature! I remember making tiny vases with ‘London Pride’ blooms as a child

Thanks, Cathy! The background was intentional to give credence to it being truly tiny.
