For this week’s LAPC, Patti invites us to showcase cities; “large and small, near and far.” The last time this kind of challenge was offered I presented photos of the tiny historic town of Oysterville, Washington on the Long Beach Peninsula. For a change of pace, I’m featuring photos I took on my first visit to St. Louis, MO last October. There are only a few photos that I can tell you what the site is, so instead of a history lesson, I present my photographic impressions.

Love your St. Louis photo tour!
Thank you! It was a fun time for me with my sisters, all new sites for me.
I was just thinking, this was a different look at your world, and you said exactly that. You did make sure we got a few natural spaces. Don’t you love wandering through green spaces. in big cities? Ever there they seem to quiet the mind. Nice gallery Lindy. I especially love the views from above and the reflective window view.
Thank you, Donna. So long as there’s a bit of nature nearby, I stay calm!
Same.
Photographic impressions are the best, Lindy! The reflections and the aerial impressions really talked to me.
Thank you, Leya. It was fun to put this one together!
Excellent. I love the arch shot, and the aerials from the arch. Superb. I must see that Blues Museum someday.
Thank you, John. Yes on the Blues Museum. I plan to revisit this fall when I visit my sister in SL.
Beautifully done Lindy – I especially loved the reflection image.
Thank you, Tina. Shots like that can only be found in a city!
Lindy, these are beautiful memories of St. Louis. I liked all photos, and especially, the building reflection and the St. Louis Arch “protecting” the tree below it.
I hadn’t thought about the arch protecting the tree, Egídio! They are such opposites which is something I enjoy featuring in photos and art.
Wonderful photos, Lindy. I love the aerial ones 🙂
Thank you Sofia. I was glad to have a good camera to bring in those aerial shots!
Great images from cities you’ve visited Lindy.
Thank you, Anne!
😊
Lovely images, Lindy and a great tour of a place I’ve never seen. Your reflection image is wonderful! I’m sorry about my late reply!
Whose late reply?! Thank you, Patti. This was a growth challenge for me.
