I have taken on the project of sanding and refinishing the garage doors of my house. It is a labor of love — lots of work with wood — a material I love. Once the panels and bevels are sanded smooth, I will finish them with a high quality stain.
After three afternoons applying a belt sander to the surfaces, I’m getting to the wood underneath. At the end of each work session I’m tired; my shoulders are sore, arms are noodles, and hands are raggedy. One of the reasons I take pictures of projects like this is so I can see progress being made!
