~ Teachers – Pivotal People ~ WPC – Admiration 4 ~

On Monday I began a series highlighting teachers who have guided my life, starting with family. Tuesday I put a spotlight on Mom, featuring a photo of her in the prime of life. This morning I included a nature photo, as I am a child in nature, from a family which respects our natural world.

Now I present four men who had a profound influence on the course of my life journey. Dad encouraged me to express my creativity and use my brain. He saw the potential in me and provided support when I needed it. Vic Moore, my art teacher at Pullman High School for four years, nurtured my spirit as he taught me the basics of visual arts and the art of being.

Many years later, when I applied for a position as an educational counselor, Greg Merrill and Terry Nelson saw the light in me and hired me into a fulfilling thirty year career of high school counseling.

Bless you all!
