Tomorrow is our 47th wedding anniversary, so placing this small pink posy in a heart shaped vase seemed just right.

Hylotelphium Herbstfreude aka Sedum telphium ,’Autumn Joy’, Lobularia maritima – sweet allyssum, Rosa ‘The Mayflower’ aka Austilly ‘The Mayflower’, Ocimum basilicum Lemon Basil ‘Sweet Dani’
For a bit of fun, I played around with saturation to create something of a ‘Victorian’ effect.

Thank you, Cathy! Interesting how the flowers dictate what you’ll put them in!
It took me a second look to realize you said EXACTLY! Congratulations to you two too!!
Thank you Lindy – we had a good day out yesterday, visiting a garden
Happy Anniversary! 🙂
Thanks, Tom — we’re expecting a quiet, at home day with dinner on the deck — 80 degrees and lots of American Goldfinch enjoying the feeders. Cheers!
Beautiful bouquet Lindy, he’s a lucky LUCKY man!
Love needs no proof, no day to celebrate, no cards to show your love, all it needs a hand to hold in difficult times and an ability to make your loved one smile.
Thank you Kathleen! I think I’m pretty lucky too!! Love the quote — the older we get the less hoopla we need to show our enduring love.
Wonderful! hearty congratulations, I and basking in the sunlight pouring out of your photos.
