Today’s vase is an ordinary wine glass — the fanciest piece of glassware in cabin #1 at Beach Haven, Orcas Island!

Black Hawthorne Crataegus douglaii  and Snowberry/Waxberry Symphoricarpos albus

On my walk this morning I picked some berry branches for my posy and feature it on the picnic table with “Presidents Channel” in the background.img_6776

    The berries look really luscious – and much bigger than anything similar in the UK. And you certainly can’t tell it is cold from your pristine background! Thanks for sharing
