Something that represents my heritage is the love of nature and being outdoors — whether in my gardens, at a park or in the wild. Camping, fishing, exploring lakes and streams, mountains and the ocean, as well as visiting national parks is part of my cultural DNA, right along with farming and gardening.
“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.”
John Muir
“All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.”
Toni Morrison
“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.”
Alice Walker
“The sky broke like an egg into full sunset and the water caught fire.”
Pamela Hansford Johnson
“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.”
Frank Lloyd Wright
Wonderful shots, Lindy! Your love for nature really shows! 🙂
Thanks, Tom. I’m on the way to the beach Monday, and will take time while there to read everyone else’s posts!
This is a wonderful series of nature shots! I also enjoyed the quotations…

Beautiful Lindy – especially like the foggy scene. Excellent job on the quotes! Love the broken egg sky 🙂
