Things are warming up in the Pacific Northwest, USA, with temperatures predicted above 100° f (~38° c) by Wednesday — unusual around these parts!

  1. It’s so good to see Jello looking well!

Hi Lindy. That purple heart peeking out of the Queen Ann’s Lace is so odd. Love Jello’s eyes. No thanks to the lounging. Ha ha! We’ve been hit with a streak of high heat also. Very unusual for Northern Ontario. Love your post. ❤

That black spot in the middle of the blossom is what drew me to take a picture. When I did some research to make sure it was Queen Anne’s Lace, I learned that yarrow and poison hemlock look similar, and that the center purple heart is an identifier for QAL.
Jello is one of the most expressive dogs I’ve known — but I think I say that about all dogs I love! Keep cool, Lindy
