A third day of sunshine, with a week of rain in the forecast inspired me to assemble this unruly posy of Aster, the last of my Rudbeckia, with the lovely fruits of Variegated Porcelain Berry Vine (Ampelopsis brevipedunculata – ‘Elegans’).

Aster frikartii – ‘Monch’, Rudbeckia fulgida – ‘Goldsturm’
The vase is a short layered glass one in a light green — almost celadon tone.
Here’s to the last bits of summer!
Love the colors of the berries, Lindy. 🙂
They truly are lovely! Thank you, Olga!
Your still life shots are always beautiful Lindy – nicely done.
So kind of you, Tina. I hadn’t thought about them as still life — thank you for that thought! Hunkering down for a week of rain here in the PNW — hope all is well in SC 🙂
They are excellent berries! They look glazed
I always look forward to them to ripen mid Autumn!
