On Thanksgiving day (USA) I gather with my family around food to share memories, and make new ones.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme
Savory seasonings for the feast, plucked from my gardens and served in a small pottery vase.
Inspiration to share from my garden comes from Cathy, at Rambling in the Garden.
What a nice idea for this time of year and I like the supporting turkey (?) too. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Cathy. Yes, it is meant to be a turkey!!
I like herbs in an arrangement, I often use the spend flowering stems of various types of basil.
What a good idea, Christina! I love the herbs for their fragrance, texture and color too.
lovely vase – I can’t get sage to grow in my garden for love or money. I’m in soggy Manchester i the UK. enjoy thanksgiving 🙂 love Bec
This plant was struggling until I placed it in a sunny location. It has thrived in a mix of clay, gravel and amended soil.
I think I need to put it in alot of gravel and not leave it out in Manchester rain.
Love the turkey and I can imagine the smells from the bouquet. How delicious!
Thanks! Rosemary is one of my favorites!
