Tina Schell challenges us to lighten up and introduce some fun and frivolity to our posts this week. Levity – lightheartedness is often elusive – but always welcome!
The Lavender Lady – a coastal eccentric with vivid, wonderfully fun taste!

Another entry into the Garden Art Hall of Fame!

This stained-glass window was a gift from my mother-in-law. What I know of its history is limited; an old-country artisan living in our region created it using old-world glass.
To look up at nature’s beautiful offering of plum blossoms set against a bright blue spring sky brings me a sense of peace and hope.

What a special gift, you are one fortunate D-I-L! Loved your choices this week Lindy, and special thanks for including my quote. Consider me honored!
It is a lovely work of art and a generous gift. Your words resonate with me in a time when it is easy to get bogged-down in negativity!
What a wonderful set of colourful images Lindy but I love the stained-glass window.
Thank you, Rupali! It is a lovely work of art.
The eccentricity of the Lavender Lady is a joy to behold. To decorate one’s home without a care for the neighbor’s is a wonderful sense of freedom. Loved the stained glass gift also. Loved your post, Lindy. ❤
When I visited her sales area, she was dressed in a full-length, silk, victorian style dress in deep purple! Thanks, Olga. You continue to inspire me to write more!
Wow! What a unique character. Inspiration is a wonderful thing. ❤
