~ Lens-Artist Photo Challenge #41: Delicious ~

Creighton and I love fresh, crusty, classic breads; baguette, ciabatta, rustic all are favorites. We had been disappointed with what we found in local bakeries on the Long Beach peninsula – until yesterday!Β

We went in for scones and here was all this lovely bread!

We stayed for a quiche brunch and brought scones and bread home for later.

What a delightful little cafe, with delectable food!

What a lovely spot, Lindy. The bread and brunch look delicious. I haven’t been to Long Beach in many years. I’m sure it’s changed quite a bit from the 90’s. πŸ™‚ Glad you joined us. πŸ™‚

Mmmm – nice delicious — that quiche looks just the right amount – and I like the design on the the coffee mugs

  3. When i was very young i worked at a health-food store/bakery. We would make sugar-free stuff for diabetic customers… but most of them would buy sugar-laden stuff anyway.

We have control over one person in the world – ourselves. We can influence, through our words and actions, those with whom we interact. If the situation is such that we have no control (as in people eating unhealthy food), we can use our knowledge to influence them to make a healthier choice. If the suggestion is rejected when offered, the logical finish is to accept this person’s decision.
Accept – as in you have no control. Still, you can keep influencing just as you do.

  4. How sweet that it’s also a post office. Must be a real community gathering place.
