Thank you, etikser/clover and ivy! This is a view from the condominium my husband and I own on the Long Beach Peninsula. The twenty-four acres from the buildings to the beach are owned by the Condominium Association, so they are wild, year round. In winter to early summer it is marshland, from summer to late fall it is a meadow. These are only a few of the moods – so many more!
Walking With Eagles is a collection of original poems and photographs by Lindy Low Le Coq. A lifelong naturalist, amateur photographer and bird enthusiast, Lindy’s verse, composition and photographs open a window into the essence of her subjects. Her poems and photography reflect the rich natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Bald Eagles mature over the course of five years. Walking With Eagles invites the reader to take a poetic and visual tour of this odyssey.

Good stuff!
Thanks, Ralph. I always appreciate your feedback. Just FYI, every time I crop a photo I remember your counsel “keep you horizons level”!
They look almost unearthly. And cold! Is it as cold as it looks?
Hi Jill, yes it has been cold in the mornings, yet warmer as the day progresses. And, always the wind!
Beautiful horizons.
Thank you! These are just a few of many more moods.
Wow. What a spot.
