Lindy, what a joy and wonderful thrill it was for me to see these beautiful photos — wow! — and hear the music behind them. The opening photo is so poetic as you captured it. Pairing it with “Softly, as in a Morning Sunrise” is just perfect. I love the Diane Reeves’ version, especiallly. Then you follow with beautiful photos of a peaceful lake, a rainbow, a creek, and tall pines. The images are gorgeous, and the music you bring up creates a loving atmosphere to reminisce. Great post!
Thank you, Egídio. This challenge was a masterpiece from you!
Lindy, your kindness warms my heart. Thank you.
Great photos, great songs Lindy. Excellent. Tumbling Tumbleweeds and Cool Water are my best known faves by The Sons.
I love those as well. We sang them all!
What a wonderful post! I love music as much as I love art and words (reading and writing them), and this is perfect: beautiful images and beautiful music!
Lindy, your images are wonderful. I’m not familiar with all of the songs but the images go perfectly with the lyrics. I’m singing along with the Lovin’ Spoonful as I write this!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed both the images and songs.
Goregous nature photography!
How interesting to hear of your jazz background. And yes…what a day or days for daydreams. I LOVED that song and singing along with you. Photos were perfect pairings.
Thank you, Donna. Sending wind kisses to add to your humming!
