~ From Small to Large ~ In A Vase On Monday ~

I have always loved little things. These tiny vases, purchased from Orcas Island Pottery, are perfect for small posy arrangements.

Dianthus  best guess ‘Cherry Moon’ (Pinks), Lavandula best guess ‘stoechas'(French Lavender), Geranium phaeum ‘Margaret Wilson’ (Hardy Geranium)

Peonies continue to grace the gardens and roses are popping out in lively color for early summer cheer.

Rosa ‘Charisma’, Rosa ‘Chrysler Imperial’, Rosa ‘Madame A. Meilland’ (Peace), Paeonia lactiflora ‘Sarah Bernhardt'(Peony), Paeonia lactiflora ‘ Karl Rosenfeld’ (Peony).

I will be posting sporadically for a while, as my sisters and I are clearing possessions out of my father’s house. We have a buyer for the property and need to get our end of things taken care of immediately.

  1. Best of luck with the work on your dad’s house. That’s such a bittersweet task. You are lucky you have family around.

  2. Lindy Le Coq says:

Thanks, Jill. Fortunately my sisters and I are a cooperative work team and good decision makers. We’ll survive with love and mirth!

  3. Do take time to smell peonies and such while you’re hard at moving through all of this. Peonies are such a sweet release of beauty….in which I am obviously a fan. Be well sweet Lindy!
