~ Porcelain Berries ~ In A Vase On Monday ~

Not much interesting blooming in my gardens right now, however these last few leaves and the lovely fruit of the porcelain berry vine caught my eye. They are in a small glass vase from a dear friend, placed on a favorite fabric table scarf.

Thanks to Cathy at  Rambling in the Garden for getting me out into the garden on a cool, overcast day!

Wow, the colours are so extreme and the reverse of what you would expect, with the yellow leaves and turquoise berries. What a beautiful thing, I imagine it’s a shrub?

  2. Cathy says:

Such beautiful berries, and the colour works perfectly with the scarf – thanks for sharing

I tried two other scarves and was surprised at how well this one worked! Thanks again, Cathy.
