Hydrangea are at the height of their beauty right now with dazzling blues and soft pinks in abundant mop-head displays. These I planted long before I kept records on varieties!

Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’
Also coming on strong are the butterfly attracting blossoms of Coneflower Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’, Monarda ‘Prairie Night’ and Prairie Mallow Sidalcea hybrid ‘Brilliant’ (which started out red and has shaded to lavender over the years).

Always a pleasure to see your lovelies, Lindy. I agree that the pinkish violet vase is splendid for the floral arrangement. ❤
