~ Lens-Artists Challenge #120 – What A Treat! ~

What a treat:

to awaken to the rumble of the Pacific Ocean in the distance,

to breathe the essence of salt sea air on a crisp Autumn day,

to feel the sun’s warmth on my shoulders, is it breaks through cloudy skies,

to see a Red-shafted Flicker dart above the meadow into tall evergreen trees,

to hear the cricket-croak of tree frogs returning,

to sip warm café-au-lait, while listening to the soft rhythm of Jello’s breathing, as she melts into her pillow.

Wishing everyone safe harbor, as we navigate uncharted waters.🐾

Thank you Tina, for a wide open prompt. It helps to count one’s blessings in times of stress!

Beautifully done and said Lindy – there is much to be thankful for if only we pause to absorb it. Clearly you’ve done so! Love your little Jello fast asleep without a care in the world!

  5. Next best thing to a walk on the beach…. a virtual walk through your camera 🙂
