~ In Lindy’s Garden Today ~

Oh, my!  Many perennial shrubs are blooming, while early emerging bulbs like daffodil, hyacinth and trillium are fading. My tulips are mid cycle, and Columbine are lifting their delicate faces to the sun.

Even so, the shrubs are stealing the show!

Red Current and Camelia, are vivid proof of life in process…

… an azalea ablaze and rhododendrons opening.

Check back for an update on the 15th of the month!

Thank you, Carol at May Dreams Garden. She invites us to share photographs of what is blooming in our gardens on the fifteenth of each month.

~ Royal Ten Tulips ~ In A Vase on Monday ~

These tulips are from the Holland America Flower Gardens in Woodland, Washington, where I visited yesterday. They are displayed in a pottery pitcher from The Right Place on Orcas Island.

The pink blossoms are Royal Ten, but I’m unsure what the light yellow ones are. In a Vase on Monday, is hosted by Cathy at Rambling in the Garden.
