Walking With Eagles is a collection of original poems and photographs by Lindy Low Le Coq. A lifelong naturalist, amateur photographer and bird enthusiast, Lindy’s verse, composition and photographs open a window into the essence of her subjects. Her poems and photography reflect the rich natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.

Bald Eagles mature over the course of five years. Walking With Eagles invites the reader to take a poetic and visual tour of this odyssey.

~ Primrose ~ In a Vase on Monday ~
After six days of sunshine, today is cooler with showers. My daffodils have faded and tulips are starting to bloom. Today’s vase is a small arrangement of Primula (primrose), Brunnera (small blue flowers) and Beesia (small white flowers), all hardy, shade tolerant perennials in my gardens.
In a Vase on Monday, is hosted by Cathy at Rambling in the Garden.

~ Sunrise Mist ~ WPC – Landscape 2 ~
An unassuming, clear-water creek at the summit of Willamette Pass in Oregon’s Cascade Mountain Range, Crescent Creek is lovely as dawn breaks and mist rises.
Some of my favorite shots are a case of serendipity — right place, right time & right camera!

~ Geese On The Wing – Friday Flyers ~
Our fine feathered friends are in migration formation these days! It was a magnificent blue-sky day, when this flock sailed across the sky right over where I stood in an open field.
Meanwhile, my back-yard songbirds are finding and settling into their spring nesting grounds. Two by two by two…!
