We have had some tornadoes in the area, though we’re certainly not a ‘tornado allley’. When I saw this forming I pulled over and took the picture — just in case it turned destructive. It didn’t however — whew!
Walking With Eagles is a collection of original poems and photographs by Lindy Low Le Coq. A lifelong naturalist, amateur photographer and bird enthusiast, Lindy’s verse, composition and photographs open a window into the essence of her subjects. Her poems and photography reflect the rich natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Bald Eagles mature over the course of five years. Walking With Eagles invites the reader to take a poetic and visual tour of this odyssey.

Looks rather ominous for sure! Head for the cellar!

That’s sure a good thing! 🙂
Wow! Super-dramatic sky!! Great capture, and I hope you were safe.
That sky made me pull over to take the shot! It dissipated soon after though — whew!
Love that dramatic sky!

Your big weather looks more like something we would see here in South Dakota. I hope it didn’t bring any damage with it.
I was afraid it might turn into a twister or tornado — luckily it dissipated and wandered on into the sky!
