Another thing Vic Moore taught me, was to keep an eye out for the absurd: things, items, places, situations — find the fun and the lesson in what is everywhere around us — revel with the odd balls of life!

As I walked through Newport, Washington USA, this building slowed my pace. I wondered what the original purpose had been — what other enterprises had occupied this structure — how did it end up like this?

Thanks to Cee Nunner, those of us with a bit of whimsy (and in this case curiosity) have a place to show our odd ball work!

I often have the same thoughts when I see older buildings left like this one – I also find them to be charming, seems they have so many stories to tell:)
Yes! Something tells me this was a school administration office or an alternative school — the emphasis on NO SMOKING is my clue!
Great odd balls for the week. Thanks for playing.
